Introduction
Our lab is researching for OLED(Organic Light-emitting Diode) and LEEC(Light-emitting Electrochemical Cells) which have drawn attention for alternative display materials, Organic Thin film Photovoltaic Cells. We are also studying about epoxy adhesive based on multi-component polymeric sytem for vehicles and electronics(PCB). (PNU-IFAM joint research project)

Research Interests
Research of Information and Electronics materials using thin film process, multi-component polymeric blends are mainly being conducted in our lab. Details are below.
1. Thin film Organic Solar Cells:
Recently, organic solar cells using organic mono/polymer have been drawing attention as alternative energy and many researcher are studying about it. Researches about various organic materials doping on the device based on multi-layeror p-i-n type devices are being investigated.
2. Organic Light-emitting Diode(OLED):
OLED is being studied as a future display by lots of researchers. Curretly, high efficient and luminescent OLED is the objectives of recent studies.
3. Light-emitting electrochemical Cell(LEC, LEEC)
LEC can cover weak points of OLED. It has lively been being studied since it was first discovered in 1995. LEEC works high efficiency on low voltage. Currently, device based on ionic transition metal complex is being studied.
4. Multi-component polyermic blends based on Epoxy/BT resin
Epoxy adhesive based on multi-component polymeric blend have good physical properties to adept various industrial area. Currently, research about high strength adhesive for vehicle frame and Anisotropic conductive film, Non-conductive paste(used for chip bonding, PCB) are being conducted.
